News.com reports that iPod prices in Pakistan are amongst the most competitive in the world and in fact, the cheapest in South Asia. Why does this have to do with the price of tea in China, you ask? Well, it’s an indication that the import regime for electronics and technology products is pretty favourable in Pakistan as compared to India, China or anywhere else in the region. This means that local businesses importing equipment from customers/partners for local QA labs, or engineering outfits, can benefit from lower costs compared to businesses over on the other side of the border.
In the case of the iPod, the Indian price is about 2.5% higher than the price in Pakistan. On equipment imports of $100-200K, this can be a pretty significant delta.

in lahore, all u need is a trip to Hafeez Centre.
there are around 4 types of IPODS
ipod shuffle: 1gb and 2 gb; around rs 1100 to rs 1900;plays only mp3 audio music files + fm; also acts as a USB flash drive; comes in 4-5 colours
ipod 2 : upto 20 gb; plays videos too; around rs 1500 plus
ipod 3: upto 80 gb; priced upto rs 9000
all got warranty of at least ten months
take a trip to the hafeez centre and buy it sealed
